    Analysis: In his only campaign with the Eagles, Zaccheaus (who caught 40 passes with the Falcons in 2022) finished the 2023 regular season with 10 catches for 164 yards and two TDs in 17 games. With the Commanders, the 26-year-old will add depth to a wideout corps that is currently led by Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson. In that context, Zaccheaus has some bounce-back potential if he can carve out steady snaps in 2024 behind the team's top duo.

    Coach Dan Quinn said Monday that Zaccheaus and Christian Blake will fill Calvin Ridley's (abdomen) role in the offense now that he has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, Jason Butt of The Athletic reports.

    Analysis: It surely can be said that Zaccheaus' first NFL reception was memorable, as his catch and run provided Atlanta with its longest play from scrimmage all season. The rookie's monstrous gain culminated in a 93-yard score to provide Atlanta with a three-possession lead at the 6:30 mark of the third quarter. Though his final fantasy output in Week 14 was eye-catching, Zaccheaus' overall offensive involvement hasn't been near the requisite level to make him a trustworthy fantasy starter.

  • Sees first career target

    Zaccheaus was unable to bring in his only target of Thursday's 26-18 loss to the Saints.

    Analysis: Zaccheaus has been getting six or seven offensive snaps per game over his last four contests, but Thursday was the first time that Matt Ryan looked the rookie's way. As his snap total didn't increase, it would be a stretch to say that his first target had too much to do with Julio Jones' (shoulder) absence, but it certainly helped. Next up is a Carolina team that is undergoing some shakeups with the firing of head coach Ron Rivera, but Zaccheaus should not be on your fantasy radar.
